The The Village Course at Kapalua Golf Resort, was one of Kapalua Golf Resort's, three 18-hole golf course located in NAPILI, Hawaii.
The Village Course first opened for play in 1975. The course was designed by Arnold Palmer.

The Village course has been closed for two years--damn shame!

It is to bad, but this course is now PRIVATE! It used to be my favorite of the Kapalua courses because of the views from the top of the mountain. Arnold Palmer designed and it is amazing! Kick yourself for missing out.

Until the gestapo tactics that took over our airports in 2002, I used to spend January's on Maui. Unfortunately, no longer willing to fly, I did not get to experience this course after 2002, until it was closed in 2007. I played the village twice to once at the plantation and the bay courses in the years I spent vacationing on Maui. To me, it was much more beautiful than either of them. For those of you who never had the opportunity to play it before it closed, you missed a great golf course.
